This worship service celebrates the power of God at work in the life of children. There is no better way for children to learn of the love of God than in the midst of joyful worship.

Energy, movement and laughter describe this experience best. Psalm 66 says, "Make a joyful noise to God." A congregation full of children excels at this commandment.

The congregation builds the self-esteem of children by recognizing their birthdays, their unique gifts, their accomplishments and near-accomplishments. It encourages family life by giving them a place to worship together in a way that makes sense to children without neglecting the spiritual needs of adults.

We project the words of the prayers and the songs on the wall so parents' hands may be free to manage small children. The music is accessible to children without being "childish." It touches their hearts while expressing an adult faith. There is a children's homily, with the children joining the priest on the steps of the altar platform.

Children learn to pray in an environment that holds their attention and engages their imagination. After communion the children follow their teachers to Godly Play while the adults join the preacher in our social hall for a cup of coffee and the adult sermon.
