DESCRIPTION:April 26th: 4:30 to 7: Our year together is coming to a close.  Let’s give thanks for all the pizza we’ve eaten together this year by filling the little free pantry together.  For our last youth night of the year\, we will gather under the oak tree at St. Tims at 4:30\, and head to smart and final to do some little free pantry shopping together.  When we get back to church we’ll have a chance to reflect over our own dinner. \nPlease sign up here\, by Thursday the 23rd\, so that we know you are coming. If one of you are up for making dinner\, please let me know.  It would be great to have some help with that.  Because we are going off site\, we will have permission slips for this event.  I’ll have some Sunday and there is a link to the permission slip on the sign up doc. \n  \nApril 26th: 4:00 to 4:30:  This is for all singers. Little siblings\, friends\, and grandparents. We’ll sing together and work on a piece for Pentecost.  We will be gathering and singing in the church nave this time.

DESCRIPTION:We will celebrate the Feast of the Ascension on Thursday\, May 14 by ascending the “mountain” at Rancho San Antonio Park! (Really\, it’s a short hike up a small hill\, less than 1 mile.) We’ll leave parking lot 1 at 5:30pm\, head up Coyote Trail\, celebrate Eucharist together\, and enjoy a bring-your-own-dinner picnic. All ages are welcome (most of it is accessible by stroller\, and there’s always help to get little ones up to our picnic spot).

Together\, we will learn how to: \n\nRecognize the early signs of mental health distress\nReduce the weight of stigma through education and empathy\nRespond with compassion to those seeking help\n\nThe presentation includes practical information\, real-life experiences\, and guidance on fostering compassionate spaces within faith settings.  \n  \nBy being equipped with these tools\, we aren’t just learning information; we are building a more compassionate\, caring world where no one has to struggle alone. \nWhether you are struggling\, supporting someone who is or you suspect may be struggling\, or you simply want to be prepared and resourced to be a safe space\, please join us on Sunday\, May 31 at noon in the church sanctuary for this presentation.
