Baptisms, Weddings, Memorials
Life brings sacred milestones—the beginnings, the commitments, the farewells.
St. Timothy’s is honored to walk with individuals and families through each of these moments with care, prayer, and joy.
Baptisms
In baptism, we affirm what is already true: every person is God’s beloved. Through water and the Holy Spirit, we are adopted into the Body of Christ, “marked as Christ’s own forever,” and welcomed into a life of learning, praying, serving, and feasting together.
At St. Tim’s, we typically celebrate baptisms on:
- The Feast of Our Lord’s Baptism (January)
- Easter
- Pentecost (May/June)
- All Saints’ Day (November)
Other dates may be arranged when needed.
If you’re seeking baptism for yourself or for a child, please contact the clergy to begin the conversation.
Weddings
Marriage is offered to all couples, regardless of gender. A wedding is a joyful sacrament in which two people make a lifelong covenant of love in the presence of God, supported by the prayers of their community. The ceremony is both sacred and celebratory—a moment of blessing for the couple and for the whole parish.
Couples interested in being married at St. Timothy’s should reach out to the clergy to begin planning and preparation.
Funerals & Memorials
In the Episcopal tradition, the funeral liturgy draws its meaning from the hope of the Resurrection. We proclaim that life is changed, not ended, even as we make space for the real grief that loss brings.
At St. Tim’s, funerals and memorials are planned in close conversation with families to honor the unique life of the one who has died. These services are occasions for remembrance, thanksgiving, and prayer, held within a community that accompanies one another with tenderness.
If a death occurs, please contact the church office as soon as possible and a member of the clergy will be in touch.
