Preachers bring personal stories and insights from various fields of study alongside scripture, to make connections between the gospel, current events, and the social concerns that affect our society. We follow the lectionary (a prescribed cycle of readings) throughout the year, encountering Jesus, the prophets, and our ancestors in the faith in different seasons of our own lives. Sermons are a dynamic, lived experience, with the Holy moving between the preacher and the hearers of the Word.
