About
Who We Are
We’re an inclusive and affirming Episcopal church in Mountain View—a place where faith is practiced with curiosity, honesty, and good humor.
St. Timothy’s calls people to unity with God and empowers them to thrive in a changing world.
We share God’s love and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed, striving to make a difference wherever we are. Our congregation includes young families, longtime members, and new faces every week. Together we’re shaping a faith community that is welcoming, flexible, and full of life. Lay leaders and clergy work side by side to nurture ministries that respond to real needs—from local service projects to environmental action and community partnerships.
Here, worship naturally spills into daily life. Faith finds expression in music and prayer, in service and friendship, and in the small, ordinary moments that remind us of God’s extraordinary grace.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
In the Episcopal Church, we boldly proclaim, “God loves you—no exceptions!”
As people of faith, we believe that every human being is created in the image and likeness of God. You are welcome as your whole and authentic self, in God’s presence and among us at St. Tim’s. LGBTQ+ members are fully included at all levels of ministry and leadership—both lay and ordained—and we gladly offer the sacramental rite of marriage, as well as all other sacraments, to all couples regardless of gender.
The Episcopal Church is deeply committed to the inclusion and equality of all.
