Community
Adults
Growing in our faith is a lifelong process.
At St. Tim’s, we learn by listening to one another, wrestling with questions, and trying out practices that shape daily life. You’re welcome to step in wherever and whenever you feel ready.
Sundays
Sermon Circle
After the 9 a.m. service, we gather for an informal conversation about the sermon—what resonated, what challenged us, and how it connects to daily life.
Occasional Forums
Throughout the year, we host Sunday forums that invite deeper reflection on faith and practice. Recent topics have included Behind the Curtain: How Does Church Work?, The Nicene Creed, and Ending Well: Preparing for Death and Dying.
Monthly Gatherings & Groups
Young Adults
Our 20s and 30s group meets about once a month for lunch, happy hour, or local adventures. It’s a relaxed space to connect, laugh, and build friendships that matter.
Prayer Journey
This in-person group meets monthly to try out different prayer practices—contemplative, creative, and embodied. It’s open to anyone curious about deepening their spiritual life. Drop in anytime.
Bible Conversation
Meeting monthly on Zoom, this group watches a short video and discusses a different book or section of the Bible. No preparation needed—just a willingness to wonder together.
Men's fellowship Group
A long-standing men’s group that meets weekly on Zoom to share life and faith, reading and reflecting on spiritual texts along the way. It’s a space for listening, honesty, and care.
Series & Studies
Throughout the year, we offer short-term series that meet for several weeks at a time. Recent offerings have included a Lenten book study, an Advent meal-and-conversation series on The Way of Love, and a catechism class for those preparing for baptism, confirmation, or reception into the Episcopal Church.
Education for Ministry (EfM)
EfM is a four-year study and discussion program in theology, scripture, church history, and practical faith. Our group meets weekly in hybrid format, combining reading, reflection, and conversation in a supportive setting.
Women’s Retreat
Each fall, those in our parish who identify as female spend a day together in prayer, reflection, and community. The theme changes yearly and may be led by parish members or a guest presenter, but the goal is always the same: to rest, reconnect, and rediscover joy.
