Dreaming Follow-Up

St. Tim's Rainbow Sign

Thank you to all those who joined our Dream Forum and shared ideas! Thank you also to those who hosted conversation tables, brought food, set up, cleaned up, supervised children, and generally made it happen. If you weren’t able to attend but have dreams to share (or if you attended but have follow up thoughts!), please email Rev. Nikky (nikky@sttims.org) or Todd Hausman, our Campaign Chair (todd.hausman@gmail.com) responses to any of the following topics/prompts:

  • The Welcome We Extend What would make a visitor feel truly seen and genuinely welcomed — not just greeted? What would it take for that person to come back?
  • Gathering Around the Table What would gathering to share meals in a deeper, more intentional way look like? What would it make possible?
  • Families & Children How does or could this parish nurture children, welcome parents, and create a place where families feel that the church is truly for them — at every season of their lives?
  • A Campus That Works for Everyone What would our spaces need to look like for St. Timothy’s to do everything it is called to do? What vision do you have for accessibility, beauty, function, and the ways our campus could better serve our worship, our programs, and our neighbors?
  • Serving Our Neighbors What it would look like for this parish to be a more visible, more active blessing to the community around us? We are also exploring whether a capital campaign might include a tithe — setting aside ten percent of proceeds for the needs of our neighbors. What would you want that gift to do? What needs do we see? What gifts do we have to offer?
  • Faith Formation What would it mean for every member of St. Timothy’s — regardless of age or stage of life — to have a clear, meaningful path to go deeper in their faith?
  • Caring for Creation What does faithful, imaginative stewardship of creation look like for our community — in our worship, on our campus, and in how we engage the wider world? What would it look like for St. Timothy’s to take this calling seriously and joyfully?
