The Province VIII Creation Care Network hosted a three day conference in Salt Lake City on September 25-27 to share stories of successes and challenges for churches as we strive to meet the goal of carbon neutrality by 2030 set by the Episcopal Church in 2022. A highlight of the conference was the emphasis on the spiritual call from “Information to Transformation” of the keynote speaker, The Rev. Lisa Graumlich, PhD, and the presentations from First People leaders Forrest Cuch, Rev. Leon Sampson, and Deena Ute. For more information about the whole conference, the PROGRAM is available on line along with VIDEOS of presentations from Friday and Saturday, and an article from the Episcopal News Service.
