The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced a plan to roll back rules that protect our rivers and streams from toxic coal ash.  Coal ash is a byproduct of burning coal and contains 26 known toxins, including ones linked to cancer, or are radioactive.  Coal ash is often stored as sludge in ponds or landfills with 172 of these located in flood plains – when they leak or overflow into waterways, the results can be catastrophic.  Click here before June 12th to Tell the EPA to Keep Toxic Coal Ash Out of our Water
