Peace & Justice Team

We believe our faith is relevant and actionable in today’s world.

In our Baptismal Covenant, we vow to proclaim by word and deed the loving, liberating, and life-giving good news of God in Christ, to “strive for justice and peace among all people,” and “to respect the dignity of every human being.”

Our Charter and Vision

The Peace and Justice Team seeks to live into these promises by congregational education and engagement, and community partnerships, with a special focus on the protection of locally targeted vulnerable neighbors, especially LGBTQ+ and immigrant populations.

We will be taking action to advocate for those who need it most, rooting our action in Christ’s love, joy, and prayer.
