Sometimes, people need help with meals long after the initial crisis of a hospital stay or illness, and it is difficult to sustain an ongoing meal train with folks dropping off food to someone’s home for many weeks. To be able to better support folks, we’re inviting you to drop off a frozen meal to the church freezer and we will help get those all together to someone who needs help. Please package your meal in 1-2 portion containers and label them with ingredients. Our current parishioner in need is allergic to walnuts, pineapple, and capers, and does not eat red meat. We’ll also save meals for future needs if we get enough.
Many thanks to the lay weeder team for doing the long-needed task of cleaning the freezer this week!
