Every other Saturday, Santa Maria Urban Ministry opens their doors to their neighbors for food distribution. Middle and high school aged youth from St. Tim’s are invited to be a part of this community event. We’ll gather at Santa Maria Urban Ministry between 8 and 8:15am, participate in the food distribution and visit with Louis Powell, their executive director.
There are a few more things to know about this event. Santa Maria asks that all their volunteers complete the community agreement at the bottom of this page. Please take a look at it before the event. As always, it is helpful to know who to plan on for these kinds of events. Please sign up as soon as possible and by Thursday the 15th. We are going to meet, and head out from Santa Maria. The address is 778 South Almaden Ave, San Jose.
We have a few spots for adults who would like to participate. If you’re interested in joining us, please let Holly know. Any other questions, ask Holly, Holly@sttims.org
